www.mbna.ca Activate Card and Login Account
To activate your new MBNA credit card in Canada, Log in to your MBNA online banking accountline : service.mbna.ca. Click on “Activate your card” and follow the instructions.
Option 1: Online activation via your MBNA bank account

Log in to your MBNA online banking accountline : service.mbna.ca

Go to the “My Accounts” or “Account Services” section .

Click on “Activate your card” and follow the instructions.
Option 2: Activation via the MBNA mobile app
Download the MBNA app on your iOS or Android device:
Once the app is installed, log in with your online banking credentials and look for the option to activate your card.
Option 3: Activation by phone
Call the toll-free number on the sticker on your new card. Follow the automated instructions to activate your card immediately.
Important note
If you are an MBNA customer, please note that MBNA's online banking system is transitioning to TD's. You may need to re-enroll in MBNA online banking after September 30, 2025.
How do I register for Internet Banking?
It's easy to register and takes about 5 minutes to complete.
- Enter your personal details
Name, date of birth, postcode and account details for one of your Lloyds Bank accounts.
- Choose a username and password
You will need access to a phone and we may need to send you an activation code in the post.
- Log on to Internet Banking
Log on using the username and password you’ve chosen.
